I’ve got a background in business sustainability, and dabbled in the world of alternative finance for a few years before realising that the future of food was my cup of tea.
I co-founded Snact a year ago - we make healthy snacks from fruit surplus to tackle food waste and food poverty. I also work with the Food Assembly, a disruptive retail model enabling direct trade between local producers and their local communities, where I regularly write articles related to food, farming, and the rise of the collaborative economy.
The food system is something I think about a lot. I love exploring ways in which we can build a better one and looking at the roles we all have to play in it - whether it be as producers, growers, eaters or just as people who enjoy sharing food.
