I am a regular contributor to RealFare, which is an independent Welfare News blog.

I write articles around welfare reform, environment and international politics for the site.

I have a 2.1 in Economics and Politics from the University of Manchester, and have formerly worked for Global Justice Now (formerly WDM), Campaign Against Climate Change and Talk Fracking.

This has been amongst other more prosaic work as a bar tender and a club night promoter.

I am also currently a user of the Welfare system as well as a supporter of public interest journalism through Real Media.

I have never stopped researching political life, and hope to continue as long as I am able.
